How to manage accounting categories

On the Accounting page you'll see a top navigation bar showing Accounts and Advanced.

Under Advanced, there's a sub-navigation menu with options to manage Categories and Groups.

Select Advanced and then select Categories to show details about the Chart of Accounts (COA) that you can customize to match the COA that you use for accounting purposes.

From this list, you can see the default Accounting Categories that are automatically added for your business when your account is first created. You will also see any additional categories that you’ve added for your business. Clicking on a specific Accounting Category will bring up the right-hand side menu, where you can either edit or delete the category. Please keep in mind that the default categories that are automatically set up for your business cannot be edited or deleted.
